The "first principles" nature of our consulting work sometimes demands that we design and build custom hardware, sensors, electronics and other experimental devices due to the lack of suitable commercially available products. Our design and build experience connects us with boutique manufacturers allowing us to quickly prototype and test new products. Some of these products become compelling for other engineering applications filling a need not met by the market.
